Born and raised in Sydney in 2011, we are a multi-skilled construction company specialised in commercial, hospitality and residential fit outs and projects. Our identity draws inspiration from the Latin term “valeõ”, encompassing strength, power and robustness.

Validus was founded through our shared passion for a hands-on, personal approach to project delivery. We strongly believe that our clients receive unparalleled service when embarking on a seamless journey led by a single team. As directors, we claim ownership of each project, accompanying you through the entire process— from conceptualisation all the way through to completion. Guided by our core values of integrity, quality, and collaboration, we are driven to exceed expectations in every project we undertake.

CHRIS CULLIMORE

  • Chris graduated with a 1st Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) in Construction Management in the UK.

    Over the course of his 20+ year professional career, he has gained invaluable experience and exposure to large commercial fit out and construction projects. Chris thrives on the challenge of complex projects. He will consistently challenge project costs and construction techniques to achieve best value for his clients. His passion, technical knowledge and organisational skills ensure successful execution at every stage of the construction process. 

    Chris’ confidence and problem-solving skills help him to consistently deliver demanding programs. His objective is always to ensure the best outcome for clients whilst never compromising on quality.

BEN SANDEMAN

  • With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Property and a Diploma in Constructions Management, Ben is a multi-skilled and dynamic leader. 

    As a licensed builder, Ben’s expertise lie within the hospitality and residential sector. With 20+ years of experience, he ensures his projects are of exceptional quality construction, guaranteeing an efficient and cost-effective process for every project.

    Passionate about client-relationships, Ben is well versed in collaborating with multiple parties and disciplines. With his hands-on approach and enthusiasm he delivers excellence, no matter how challenging or demanding.

    Ben leads teams with ease, providing the can-do approach to motivate a workforce. He is respected for mitigating any challenges and ensuring a smooth, seamless delivery of a project.
